The washing instructions for Jersey Lycra are quite specific, because it is a blended fabric of cotton, viscose or polyester with elastane (Lycra) is.

Below the recommended maintenance instructions:

To wash

Temperature: maximum 30°C, preferably on a fine or synthetic program.
Wash inside out, to protect the color and elasticity.
Use a mild detergent (without bleach or enzymes).
Do not soak and do not wring, so as not to stretch the fibers.

Drying

Do not tumble dry!
→ Heat attacks the elastane and may cause the fabric to shrink or reduce its stretch.
Let it dry flat or to hang.

To Iron

Low temperature (1 dot, max. 110°C).
If necessary, use a ironing cloth to prevent shine spots.
Do not steam.

⚠️ Extra tips

Do not bleach (no chlorine or bleach).
Do not dry clean.
Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight when drying
→ colours may fade.
